Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*5-9 Arbor Week - Celebrate Trees with a
Ten Trees Tour: learn the names and stories of at least ten native trees growing at Hopkins Demonstration Forest. 90-minute walking tours follow a 1 ½ mile route on forest roads and trails. Schedule a tour for your class, community group or family; or download the
Hopkins Trees List and guide your own tour.
*10 Community Forestry Day - Trail Tenders: After a long winter our trail network of almost five miles needs our attention. Other projects on our to-do list this month may include spring cleaning around our Shop and Hopkins Hall.

2:00pm In recognition of Oregon Arbor Week, a guided Ten Trees Tour will feature the variety of native trees in our forest through a participatory tour; 90-minutes; some walking on rough ground.
4:00pm Put tools away and clean up
