Guests and volunteers learn by doing and share their talents with others. We offer activities appropriate for all ages: individuals and families, youth and community groups are welcome.

*14 Community Forestry Day
- Are these the Dog Days? August is the best month to apply weather sealant to our shake roofs, paint and stain various structures in the forest, and complete construction or maintenance projects on our buildings and trails. If you would enjoy BBQing lunch for our volunteers, please join our community in the forest.

1:00pm Volunteer projects continue
2:00pm Tour a variety of habitats and management units, allowing an insiders look at sustainable forestry; 90-minutes, some walking on rough ground
4:00pm Put tools away and clean up
