Campbell Global Supports Hopkins!
Campbell Global is an investment management company focused on forestland. Based in Portland for the past 40 years, Campbell has been a big supporter of Forests Forever for many of those years as a member of our Education Consortium—and by bringing volunteer teams of staff out to Hopkins to work in the woods.
The latest team of eight Campbell volunteers made big improvements to our Redwood Trail in October. Volunteers put down wood chips across the entire trail surface, cut low-hanging limbs, and cleared areas adjacent to the trail where additional redwood seedlings will be planted next winter.
FFI Board members Mike Piazza and Mike Bondi worked with the group to direct activities. “We really appreciate the long-standing support of the Campbell Group,” said Mike Bondi. “It’s always amazing to see the work that can be done in a few hours when we have many hands!”
Board Treasurer Mike Piazza said, “We thank the many business partners, like the Campbell Group, who provide financial support to Forests Forever and also make work day contributions like trail maintenance. I’ve always been impressed with the community support we receive that so many show. We do appreciate this support!”
